Great sharpening rods

A great replacement or additional rods for the Zwilling V-Edge sharpener. These rods do a great job of helping finish up the sharpening process from use of the coarse rods, gets the edge of the knife nice and sharp, so that way you can get your knife back to its optimal sharpness. A good rod to start with if your knives are only slightly dulled out and not needing to use the coarse grain.

the magic inside the V sharpener

The V edge sharpener is easy to use. The rods offer different grits, much like the coarseness of various whetstones. Each rod can be uses on all 4 sides which adds to their longevity. Simple change them as you go from repair to finishing to polishing. Since the rods are ceramic, they can break or over time wear out and need to be replaced, but each is easily replaceable.

Extra Extra

Used for both sharpening and smoothing, these medium grain rods definitely receive the most wear with the V-Edge sharpener. Having extra on hand assures they will be there when needed.

Replacement Parts

These rods are replacements for the V edge sharpener. The medium grain is perfect for sharpening a dull blade, a task easily performed with the V edge sharpener. Ceramic is the best for sharpening knives but if dropped, it can break. A good idea to keep a back up set on hand.

V edge true professional sharpener

My V edge sharpener has not arrived at my home yet but my friend has one,and I got to use it let me tell you something forget about those very expensive sharpeners you could use this in your professional restaurant,and sharpen your knives wow what a difference they do such a fantastic job of sharpening, my friend let me sharpen one of his dull knives that he did on purpose it was back to its original sharpness from the factory buy one it’s worth every penny Zwilling you did it again,John

Essential .

I accidentally dropped one, and was so happy to have the option to replace.They do last a very long time but they are fragile so be careful.
