Poor quality. Do not buy.

Bought cricket away. Loved the color. Unfortunately the polish was thick and sludge like. Did not glide on smooth, instead left clumpy lines Chipped in 12 hours. Very disappointed.

Ballet Slippers okay

Nice color, glides nicely, but 2 coats make it streaky so I tried 3 coats and still streaky, even applied base coat. Not happy with results.

Best color payoff, and formula!

This is one of the best formulas Essie has released. The color payoff in one coat is a must-have in your varnish collection. The deep green color of this nail polish is to die for; highly recommend Off Tropic from Essie!

Go-to neutral

This is my go-to. It is the perfect shade of sheer for a clean soapy-nail look. It is not as pink as ballet slipper and not as white as mademoiselle. With two coats between essie base coat and speed setter top coat, this lasts a week. Please keep making this color

Not the same color as before

I’ve used Sugar Daddy for years as a clear neutral for natural looking nails. Essie intensified the pink tint and now it no longer looks natural. My opinion is that it actually makes my nails look like they’re infected. Yuck! I wish I had checked for updates before buying.

Bring back the old sugar daddy color!

Bring back the old sugar daddy color please!!! Why did you change the color? I see you respond to everyone saying that it’s just from aging of the color or something. But I’ve been using this color for 10yrs and never had this issue. My manicurist has one left of the old color. All the new bottles are way too pink. Now I have to look for a new color all over again. Please bring back the old color - call it something else if you need. But please just bring it back! It was perfect.
