Great tumbler, lousy straw design

The tumbler is beautiful and the lid seals well. But the straw design is terrible. I don't know if it's because it's a flexible silicone straw, but when I fill the cup and then put the lid and straw on the tumbler together, the liquid inside squirts out through the top of the straw (like it honestly shoots out like a geyser.) And when I try putting the lid on without the straw and then inserting the straw on its own, the same thing happens, to a lesser degree. It's also difficult to drink through the straw because it gets somewhat cinched by the lid. I like the cup, so I'm going to keep it. But I'm going to have to find a stainless straw to use with it :(

NOT FOR REGULAR SIZE CANS

Well, I didn’t read the fine print to understand that a regular pop can WILL NOT fit in this thing. Can’t take Last Act items back so I guess it will be donated as It won’t even fit a water bottle. Inside is metal and there is no top closure so it also can’t be used as a thermos. My bad! I’m just happy it was cheap! Now I’ve got to run out and find bottles of something to fit this thing ..:
